I feel off...

the blogging trend I was on...SORRY! What's new in my life?

Here is it, Owen is 13 months old, I am home for the summer, and life is grand!
Owen turned a year old last month & he is getting to be such a BIG boy! His party went great and he got a lot of great *stuff* It is not hard to make the little munchkin happy these days. Tomorrow he is getting tubes in his ears & we hope that stops all of the ear infections. Since October, Owen has had 7+ ear infections w/ two sets of double ear infections in May alone. I absolutely hate for him to be on antibiotics & he is in so much pain. Tomorrow is the *DAY* & I will let everyone know how it goes. So, please say a prayer for us.

I am home for the summer & I am glad this school year went fast. The kids were a little rough and I have some hard times, but for the most part it was a good year. My teaching partner is leaving & going back to Ohio...she will truly be missed at MMS. Since she is leaving, I thought there would be no better time than now for me to move up to 7th grade. I am going to teach ALL science classes & I am really excited about that. I think it will be a new chapter in my life. Change is good or at least that's what they say.

Tony and I are purchasing a house. We are scheduled to close on it this month. We are really excited and are glad that Owen will have a place to run around in. We have been in tight quarters here at the condo & now it's time to move up...I will post more about it when we close. We are going to do some minor repairs to it. So, if anyone is willing to help, please call me. :D

Owen has started something new...EATING his crib! Yes, you read that correctly...the wood on his bed has all these little scratches on it. I thought it was from Tonys buckle, but today I walked in and he was nawing the crib. Way to ruin the nice bed we spent so much money on. I guess eating a little wood never hurt anyone.

This past weekend we went to my parents house and it was so nice. Well, it's always nice to go home and see them. Not to mention they love seeing O more than anything. We get there and O doesnt stop until we make him slow down. He just takes everything in, from the pond, boat, motorcycle, birds, cats, dog, windows, and everything else. Totally precious. Here is a pic of O with his PawPaw.

Here is a smile for the road....

Until next time...

Stephanie

Please do let me know how the tubes go for Owen! I will be thinking about him (and you & Tony)!

We must get together before moving. What would be a good day for you to help pack? We've got the guest bedroom done. Ugh, it's a mess too!

Talk to you soon!
